The main tourist trip in the capital is in the Cuidad Vieja (old city). There you will find places of historical interest, places to shop and a wide range of culinary choices. Montevideo is synonymous with the promenade. This pedestrian walkway alongside the sea offers a great opportunity to see the city without interruptions from the port to Carrasco neighborhood. However, the opportunities of a pleasant walk don’t end there as there are also parks, street markets and different neighborhoods that are also worth discovering.
