Montevideo has five particularly attractive beaches. Ramírez beach is an interesting place to enjoy at sunset, as it has a privileged location right in front of Rodó Park. Pocitos beach is without doubt the most popular, it combines the peace that the family can enjoy and sports on the sand. After this is Buceo beach whose sandy surface tends to be the most popular in summer. This is followed by Malvín beach, another one where a lot of people gather, particularly the youth. It is the most popular urban park in Montevideo. There are many reasons to visit it. It has two amusement parks, one for young people – located in front of Ramírez beach- and another for children – that borders Bulevar Artigas.
